Alyssa Tress became a member of the Urban Innovation team on September 2011 as a PCKIZ intern. In the summer of 2012, she transitioned into a new role, becoming the coordinator of the organization’s three internship programs. Currently, she is finishing her Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management at Point Park University.

Alyssa has experience with government and public service having interned for U.S. Congressman Altmire and U.S. Senator Lautenberg. In 2010, she graduated from Clarion University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration. While attending Clarion, she worked for the university police, served as secretary of the Political Science Association, and was a member of the Clarion University softball team.

Alyssa grew up in North Sewickley Township and graduated from Riverside High School in 2006. She has served Beaver County’s youth and their families as a volunteer for Tiger Pause Youth Ministry. When not working or in school, she enjoys biking, reading, and Pittsburgh sports.
