The Pursuit with Patience

In October, 2013, Wesley developed an educational program, called “The Pursuit.” The Pursuit education curriculum is designed to prepare students for academic success and enhance the student’s skills in decision-making, writing and communication, and comprehension to become a successful individual and life-long learner. The skills learned will provide students with tools for making better choices independent of school; including your personal life and community environment.

The Pursuit targets students who need extra encouragement to excel in their academics.

The Global Shapers

Pittsburgh Global Shapers’ Shaping Davos Event.
A first-ever initiative developed by the World Economic Forum, Shaping Davos is a global dialogue of 40 cities around the world — each contributing their narrative to pressing issues that affect us all. Held in conjunction with the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting at Davos-Klosters — and presented by Pittsburgh’s Global Shapers Hub — Shaping Davos offers an opportunity for cities to put their mark on the global community and shape the ongoing narrative around important and pressing global issues.

For the first-ever Shaping Davos event, the Pittsburgh Global Shapers brought together leaders of Pittsburgh’s innovation economy to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing a reemerging 21st century post-industrial American city.
