Pittsburgh Promise Scholars

< Back to Internship Information

Urban Innovation21 places students (recipients of the Pittsburgh Promise Scholarship and attending the Community College of Allegheny County) with paid summer internship opportunities. Most of these students have just completed their first year; others are deciding between continuing their education at a four-year institution or entering the workforce.

Given the limited professional experience of most college freshmen and sophomores, Urban Innovation21 arranges for a series of pre- internship workshops to provide interns the necessary tools to succeed. This initiative is funded by the Alcoa Foundation, UPMC, the Heinz Endowments, and Richard King Mellon Foundation.

How to Apply:

Urban Innovation21 summer internship opportunities are posted at the Community College of Allegheny County Office of Specialized Programs.
